Tiistaina heräsin virkeänä hyvin nukutun yön jälkeen. Syötiin aamupala ja lähdettiin kohti keskustaa. Piti käydä ostamassa kuukauden bussilippu, jolla pääsee keskustassa hyvin surffailemaan jos/kun ei jaksa kävellä. Tuli pyörittyä ainakin torilla, Dragon Bridgellä ja Trible Bridgellä.
Pari tuntia seilailtuamme vanhan ja uuden kaupungin väliä, lähdimme käymään työssäoppimispaikassamme, Spanski borci -teatterissa. Luka esitteli talon.
Erkanimme teatterilta eri suuntiin. Bussi, jolla lähdin, ajoi Ljubljana Castlen alla olevan tunnelin läpi. Hyppäsin Postan kohdalla ja lähdin kävelemään asuntoa kohti. Kaunis "Tivoli Park" sijaitsi kaupungin laidalla. Poikkesin reitiltäni ihailemaan puistoa. Puistoalueelta näkyi Ljubljanan linna.
Kulttuurisia huomioita:
- Roskikset kaduilla
- Aidat (usein rautaiset) talojen ympärillä
- Autoilijat antavat tietä jalankulkijoille
- Ei tarvitse heilauttaa kättä, kun haluaa bussin pysähtyvän
- Paljon puistoja ja lehtipuita (etenkin sellaisia, jotka kukkivat tähän aikaan vuodesta)
- Kaupassa, eikä leipomoissa myydä ruisleipää

Two days after arrival. I'm not sure, if it's the pigeons or sort of an owl, who are making noises during the day and night? It doesn't matter, as long as I can sleep. :)
I woke up early yesterday, ate breakfast and then we headed to the city center. First we bought a monthly bus ticket from the bus station, which is nice to have if you don't want to walk or cycle.
Walking around for few hours between old and new town, we headed to our workplace, Spanski borci -theater. Our "master", Luka showed us the house.
After a theater tour I jump on the bus #2 which drove through the tunnel under the Ljubljana Castle. I jumped off somewhere in the middle of my journey.
On my way home I came across a beautiful "Tivoli Park" which is located near the city. Did a little walk in the park. What a nice day.
Cultural notice:
- Trash cans on the streets
- Houses surrounded by fence (mostly made of iron)
- Drivers make way for pedestrians
- When waiting for the bus, you don't have to wave your hand to stop it
- Lot of parks and trees
- There is no rye bred in grocery neither bakeries
