Unohdin korvatulpat kämpille, joten oli aika tuskallista olla eturivissä. Korvat soi vieläkin. Vaikka kappaleiden sanoitukset ja välispiikit meni täysin ohitse kielimuurin takia, keikka oli loistava. Irlantilaista folk-metallia sekoitettuna heidän omaa tyyliään. Viihdyttävää.
Keikan jälkeen juttelin hetken bändin jäsenten kanssa ja kyselivät, miten ihmeessä olen täällä. Selitin työskenteleväni teatterissa valo- ja äänihommissa ja tapasin sattumalta viime viikolla bändin kosketinsoittajan, Peterin, jonka kautta ikäänkuin päädyin katsomaan keikkaa.
Reeniä, reeniä
Tulin ostaneeksi eilen uudet kengät. Ei mitkään tavalliset kengät, vaan juoksukengät. En oikeastaan harrasta juoksemista, lähinnä kävelyä. Ajattelin panostaa kunnolla, enkä ostaa mitään halpaa mallia, joka on "ihan kiva". Tältä uudet popot näyttävät:

Last night I went to see a Slovenian band called AVVEN at Orto bar. Haven't heard about them before, but I met Peter (synth) last week by accident and that was the reason I went to see them. Also I met two girls, Tina and Nika, at the merchandise desk on the night of the concert and spent the whole night with them.
I forgot my earplugs so it was really bad to be in the front row. My ears are still ringing. But the gig was awesome, sort of folkish metal mixed with their own style. Most of the songs were in Slovenian. Some of them were in English, but it was really hard to focus on the lyrics beyond the noise. After the show I talked with some members. I really enjoyed the night, even I went there alone.

I happened to buy new shoes yesterday. Not any kind of shoes, the running shoes. Actually I don't use to run, I prefer walking. But I wanted to buy good shoes and not the cheapest ones, which are "kinda nice". These new Asics Gel-Cumulus 15 are very comfortable and light. And looking good as well. ;)
